Covid-19 cases in sub-Saharan Africa have been relatively low, but the recent acceleration in cases is becoming worrisome. Unfortunately, there are around 500 cases in the Ivory Coast, Ghana, Niger and Burkina Faso. Due to the infrastructure of the healthcare system, accessibility to clean water and food, it is important to stay on top of spreading awareness and providing essentials for society. The pace of growth is faster than countries in Europe but despite that, the measures to enforce social distancing haven’t been easy. It is important to continue spreading awareness, donating to those in need and providing as much resources as possible.
